The first visit covers a consultation, a review of the imaging and pathology you bring, and any further tests needed. Some tests may need to be repeated locally if the original images cannot be reviewed.
The length of stay depends on the treatment. Planning is done case by case, and an outline will be given once the plan is clear.
A summary of your treatment, operation notes and pathology results can be sent to the doctor caring for you at home, with your permission, so that follow-up continues without a gap. Remote review of results after you return can often be arranged.
